Advocating For sustainability through our services

Creating a dialogue with our customers about how to make their event, activation, furniture item or interior more sustainable. This includes improving the design to use less materials, providing options for more sustainable materials (woods, metals and paints) and ensuring there is a proper plan for the lifecycle of every item created.

Health and Safety

Meeting all applicable health and safety regulations, while building a health and safety culture that reduces the risk of serious injury and long-term negative health impacts. All employees, contractors and clients are encouraged to raise health and safety concerns which can then be addressed in a collaborative manner.

Climate Change and Emissions

Contributing positively to the climate change challenge, with an aim to make our operations zero carbon by 2020, through the measurement, reduction and offsetting of direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions.

Local Community

Being a positive and active member of the local community of Tendring and Essex - with our workshop being recognised as a hub of creativity that contributes positively to society.

Responsible material usage and waste

Using low impact materials such as FSC certified and recycled wood, being efficient in our use of all materials and then reusing or recycling any offcuts and waste from production.

Local Procurement and Economic Impact

Procuring goods and services needed to operate from the local area (within 100 miles) and employing people form within Essex - contributing to a thriving local business environment.

Water and Energy

Being as efficient as possible in the use of energy and water resources, switching off all appliances at the end of the day and overnight. We also purchase our electricity from a a supplier that sources 90% of its energy from renewable generators.

Jobs and Employment

Attracting, training and retaining creative local talent and providing them with an enriching and engaging environment for them to contribute, learn and grow professionally and personally. We currently exceed the National Living Wage and the Real Living Wage, paying our employees a fair and rewarding sum.
