Welcome to Fashioners Wood… well it's more of a meadow right now
Creating Fashioners Wood does help to offset our impact, the impact of our creative agency clients and the brands they are activating. It is also in addition to the purchasing of carbon credits, which we do every year to to offset our annual emissions tally.

We are so excited to share that on Christmas Eve 2024, we got the keys to our very own little piece of the Suffolk countryside.
Our 5-acre plot of land (creatively called Fashioners Wood) is currently 20% woodland and 80% meadow, giving us plenty of space to create a brand-new forest ecosystem.
So why did we buy this land?
Well, the answer is simple:
The events industry is a notoriously unsustainable sector, and building bespoke sets, stages, activations and retail displays uses a lot of wood
The UK only has 13% forest coverage, a very low percentage, especially in comparison to other European nations
Creating new forests directly contributes to the UK's net zero emissions target
We just love spending time in nature, and what better way than to plant trees and create our very own forest as a legacy for the future.
We are the first to admit that the creation of this new woodland does not absolve us of our responsibility to focus on reducing our emissions. That is always the number one priority.
Creating Fashioners Wood does help to offset our impact, the impact of our creative agency clients and the brands they are activating. It is also in addition to the purchasing of carbon credits, which we do every year to to offset our annual emissions tally.
Finally, we plan to host an annual Fashioners Wood tree planting day. On that day, project managers, production managers, designers and founders from across our creative agency clients, are welcome to join us for a fun day of planting followed by lunch at Retreat East.
Hope to see you there.
